As La Perla states,
The new Spring Summer 2012 La Perla lingerie collection brings you back to a time when the girls dreamt of breakfast at Tiffany’s. The Sixties weren’t just revolutionary and trippy, they also changed fashion with the discovery that elegance can be lived with a bit of nonchalance. The fabrics here are as light as a feather, brought to life with luminous pastel colours. To highlight a femininity that Holly Golightly would have liked.
Jeisa Chiminazzo looks like a perfect fit to this mood and collection.
As for La Perla Beachwear SS 2012 The Sixties Flair Collection:
The new Spring Summer 2012 La Perla swimwear collection follows the upbeat and euphoric attitudes of the 60s. It is inspired by the energetic colors of Pop Art and Andy Warhol’s psychedelic flowers but also the sparkling bon ton of stars on holiday in Portofino.
Something about the brand:
La Perla’s roots are in Italy, in a city of Bologna, dating from 1954. It is said that the name was inspired jewel-lined case in which first products were packed and delivered. In 1971 La Perla Beachwear brand was launched. In 1980 La Perla became a large group of undergarments producers and started seamless integration into fashion world. You might remember Rebecca Romijn Stamos in a movie “Femme Fatale”, wearing a set of black lingerie – check at the bottom of this Black Lingerie post .
