It’s been a while as shapewear and all sorts of slimming outfits were in the market and now it’s coming to the beaches, as slimming swimsuits are being designed by famous lingerie brands.

That may mean the level of style will rise, having in mind pretty low or mediocre standard of slimming bathing suits shops have in stock nowadays. Let’s agree, there’s nothing charming and outstanding in designs offered by let’s say Cyberswim’s Miraclesuit . They are classic, safe, true, but that’s all.

Also other brands do not offer much, except classic lines and colors, sometimes trying to bring in some details, but as they can’t handle them in one harmonious design, only small left overs are left. That satisfies majority, but what about those looking to stand out, be in line with overall style of clothing?

That’s why I salute brands like Scandale (French pioneer shapewear brand) to turn to beach fashion, with the upcoming collection titled Les Aquatiques of shaping swimwear range for Spring Summer 2013 season. Egyptian myths, Roman classicism, spirits of Greece, powerful sun rays and soothing waters fall into one enchanting mash-up. Ultramarine blue simply hypnotizes, and ornaments stun with the feminine goddess appeal. Warm greens refreshes and brings back to earth, while black and whites gives a sense of civilization, reality, a connection with modern world.
