Cool sustainable ecological underwear: Underprotection SS 2013

I don’t know why, but everything what photographer Henrik Adamsen touches, looks darn good in photos (remember Forrest&Bob?), even quite modest underwear from sustainable fabrics. Maybe it’s because of the sexual aura that surrounds shots, or smth else.

This time Danish environmentally friendly desiger underwear brand Underprotection looks like something you can’t resist.

Check out few eco underwear pics from their Spring/Summer 2013 collection, some from Autumn/Winter 2012 – don’t these designs stand out?

Ann Summers isn’t known for it’s subtle design, rather for mainstream simple, sometimes cheesy and “have seen it somewhere before”. They are not pretending to be fashion designers and are accepted by masses for that same reason. The last campaign is just a small step for bringing just a tiny bit of connection with what a real photoshoot might look like. Nicole Meyer saves the day here – her charm is unbeatable.

Lascivious lingerie - driven by lust

3. Driven by lust; preoccupied with or exhibiting lustful desires.

It’s impossible not to become preoccupied with lustful desires just having a quick glance at Lascivious Lingerie new look book for Autumn/Winter 2012. Previous collections were quite provocative, but this look book just kills it. One quick look at the Kitty set and you’ll get it.
That’s it, I’m out, I’m going.

Just a bit info on the collection straight from the authors:

Our AW12 collection is inspired by the notion of love as a binding entity – something you want to be chained to; lustful, base and raw. This mood and idea has been deconstructed to draw inspiration literally from flesh and bone – from our Lola collection, with its sinuous flowing design lines, through to Cara, which features an ivory bone colour over which a luxe gunmetal chain is digitally printed. …….. Highlights of leather and [faux] fur are included to stimulate the senses; the juxtoposition of hard and soft (heart and bone) echoing the central themes for all AW12 ranges.

I mean just look at those styles – I think it’s probably the first time when lingerie designer managed to get that ultra kinky Fifty Shades of Grey style into something not vulgar at all and at the same time not becoming pop, mainstream. Beat that, Provocateur.

Lust is overwhelming my mind, can’t think clearly now….

New styles from Kardashian Kollection Intimates

Kardashians and Sears are pushing few new pieces of lingerie added to their collection this Spring. And you could tell they are progressing with their brand image, if you could never mind the cheesy zebra (!) print pieces they still have. I don’t know what’s exactly wrong with women loving animal print stuff, but I’d say it’s whorish at least.

But the ad, shot by Nick Saglimbeni saves the day – if Kardashians would continue walking the same path, they would win some brand believers and would shut the critics like me.
I mean just look at the ad from 2011 and the recent ad from 2012 below. Yes, they now look like photoshoped plastic dolls (just look at those cheeks, hips), yes, high heels+lingerie is ridiculous from the roots – but right now at least the ad represents exactly what kind of style they are selling. “Who’s the queen now?” instead of “maybe I can still be sexy?”.
